1) Nicolas Cage's Lamborghini Miura
This car was a serious buy for actor Nicolas Cage when he bought it for $500,000 back in 1997. The car had been built for Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, the Shah of Iran and was kept under armed guard within the Royal Palace in Tehran. Cage bought the fast car at an auction in 1997 and he paid what is still the highest price for this model of car ever bought. Although by 2002 in true celebrity style he had decided that he'd had enough of the car and sold it on. [click here to view pics]

3) Simon Cowell's Bugatti Veyron
Simon Cowell is not a man that you would associate with being understated as his Bugatti Veyron showed. This car was valued at $1 million and had a horse power of more than 1000 and a top speed that could reach just under 254 miles per hour. Simon had stated that this car was one of his many impulse buys back in 2008 and he just couldn't resist buying it with you he had set eyes on it. Bizarrely he's now swapped it for a Smart car, perhaps this is a clever celebrity endorsement move from Smart?
4) David Beckham's Lamborghini Gallardo
David Beckham is known for owning several cool cars but this is one that he has used when he is in Spain just to get him from A to B. This 2 door auto cost David a cool £110,000 and he has had his football number 23 printed on all of the centre caps which are on the wheels. This is a sporty number that is just right for zipping around in while he is on Spanish soil. [click here to view pics]
5) Patrick Dempsey's Jaguar XK120
This vintage car has a stunning interior of red leather with grey paint and as the car was only in production for 6 years between 1948 and 1954 getting hold of one is something of a challenge. Patrick was determined to keep the car looking amazing and people remarked that it was in such good condition that it could have just come straight from the production line and onto the street. This is one of several cars that this car obsessed celebrity has owned.
6) Jay Leno's Ecojet
Jay Leno is known for his love of all things car and the EcoJet was actually designed by the funny man and chat show host and his team at his own Jay's Big Dog Garage. The car is fast and environmentally friendly and has 650 hp Honeywell LT 101 engine at its heart. The car took more than three years to produce and it can currently reach 150 mph, which is pretty impressive that something which started out life as a simple design on a napkin. 7) Samuel L. Jackson's Maybach 57 S
This is one car that looks like a regular model from the outside but has some of the most stunning styling on the inside. The interior of the car includes folding tables, silver tumblers and champagne glasses for enjoying a drink or two, together with a refrigerator to keep them cool. The outside of the car has a special paint job that gets fans of this model of car drooling with jealousy. [click here to view pics]
8) Hayden Christensen's Ferrari 360 Modena
The actor that played Anakin Skywalker paid around $200,000 for his car with a 3.6 litre V8 engine and specially designed interior that would make the car lighter and therefore much faster when being driven. Proving that he was a real speed freak he would actually drive this car in rallies without giving much thought to how much it might actually cost if he needed to make any repairs on it, but then Hayden isn't short of a dollar or two.
